Meowkids Terms of Use

Please read these Terms carefully before using Meowkids. They explain the rules for using our website, mobile applications, content, and subscriptions.

1. Service provider and scope

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Meowkids (“Meowkids,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of the Meowkids website, mobile applications, educational games, coloring pages, articles, subscriptions, and related features (together, the “Service”).

Additional terms shown in the Service may apply to particular features. Our Privacy Policy and Subscription Conditions also form part of these Terms where relevant.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you purchase a subscription, you also agree to our Subscription Conditions.

If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Adults, parents, and guardians

Accounts, purchases, and management of the Service are intended for adults who can enter into a binding agreement. Educational content may be used by children only with the involvement and supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or other responsible adult.

If you allow a child to use the Service through your account or device, you are responsible for that use, for choosing age-appropriate content, and for supervising the child’s activity.

4. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and protect your login credentials. You may not share your account in a way that defeats plan limits or permits unauthorized commercial use.

You are responsible for activity under your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. Tell us promptly at meowkidsapp@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. License and intellectual property

The Service and its games, text, artwork, audio, video, designs, software, trademarks, and other materials are owned by Meowkids or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use the Service for non-commercial educational and family purposes during the period in which you are entitled to access it.

Downloadable resources expressly offered for printing may be printed for personal, household, or classroom use, but may not be resold, republished, or distributed as a competing collection or service.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • copy, sell, sublicense, publicly distribute, or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, bypass technical restrictions, or attempt to obtain source code except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • interfere with the Service, introduce malicious code, probe for vulnerabilities, or access data or accounts without authorization;
  • use automated tools to scrape or extract content without our written permission;
  • use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or in a way that infringes the rights or safety of others; or
  • remove or obscure copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

7. Subscriptions, payments, and refunds

Some features require a paid subscription. The price, currency, billing period, trial terms, and included features are shown before purchase. Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled.

Purchases may be processed by the App Store, Google Play, or another payment provider. The provider’s payment and refund rules may also apply. Full details are in our Subscription Conditions.

8. Communications

We may send operational messages that are necessary to provide the Service, such as account, security, purchase, subscription, and important policy notices.

We send marketing communications only where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe using the link in the message or by contacting us. You may still receive non-marketing service messages.

9. Third-party services

The Service may link to or rely on app stores, payment services, and third-party websites or tools. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Changes and availability

We may update, add, or remove content and features, perform maintenance, or discontinue parts of the Service. We will not materially reduce a paid feature during an active subscription period without providing a remedy where required by applicable law.

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but interruptions, errors, or maintenance may occur.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Meowkids provides educational and entertainment content, not medical, developmental, therapeutic, or professional advice. Results vary, and we do not guarantee a particular learning outcome.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meowkids will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of or inability to use the Service.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot be limited or excluded by law, including any mandatory consumer protections.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Stopping use or deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription; you must cancel it through the channel where it was purchased.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, use the Service fraudulently or unlawfully, create a security risk, or if we are required to do so by law. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This choice does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections available under the law of your country of residence.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the competent courts in Yerevan, Armenia, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or applicable law. We will publish the updated Terms and revise the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms, except where the law requires express consent.

16. General terms

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law. These Terms and the documents they reference are the entire agreement regarding the Service.
